The Ed Rehbein Collection

“The whole landscape showed design, like man’s noblest sculptures. How wonderful the power of its beauty! Gazing awestricken, I might have left everything for it. Glad, endless work would then be mine, tracing the forces that have brought forth its features, its rocks and plants and animals and glorious weather. Beauty beyond thought everywhere, beneath, above, made and being made forever” (John Muir in My First Summer in the Sierra).

I can’t say it any better than that. The beauty of God’s creation sweeps me off my feet. Photography is my way of catching a glimpse of the Divine hand who made all things.

Some of the photographs in this gallery have appeared in Wonderful West Virginia and West Virginia South magazines. Others have won awards at 2004 and 2005 West Virginia State Fair, the 75th Anniversary of WV State Parks photo contest, and a photo contest held by West Viriginia South magazine.
